Project Description
reflect > repent > RECEIVE > rest > request > rehearse > recount
Like the Lawyer, do you long to receive eternal life? Have you been crushed under the weight of the Law… to demonstrate unwavering and wholehearted compassion to everyone, everywhere, always? These demands to love are too great to be fulfilled perfectly.
You cannot do it. But there is One who has…
Throw yourself at the mercy of Jesus – The Compassionate One. Receive His perfect love where you’re lack left others to die on the side of the road.
READ AGAIN : Luke 10:25-37 – The Parable of the Good Samaritan
Today, having received the love and life of Christ, invite the Spirit to give you fresh compassion to see and feel the world around you in the same way that He does. Pray for the power and authority to step towards the wounds of ‘the other’ to bind them up with the love of Christ.
“Love is not a sentimental feeling. Rather it is sacrificial action. It means interrupting my schedule, expending my money, risking my reputation, ruining my property, even for a stranger, so that I can do what is best for him.”
Don’t ask, ‘who is my neighbor?’ Ask, ‘whose neighbor am I?’
