Today, having received the love and life of Christ, invite the Spirit to give you fresh compassion to see and feel the world around you in the same way that He does. Pray for the power and authority to step towards the wounds of ‘the other’ to bind them up with the love of Christ.

“Love is not a sentimental feeling. Rather it is sacrificial action. It means interrupting my schedule, expending my money, risking my reputation, ruining my property, even for a stranger, so that I can do what is best for him.”

Don’t ask, ‘who is my neighbor?’ Ask, ‘whose neighbor am I?’
